Last we saw the Samsung GT-i9250 was being listed by most sites as the basis for the Nexus Prime and it was passing through the FCC for WiFi certification. Today Droidlife are reporting that the phone has passed through the Bluetooth SIG(Special Interest Group) for certification, the details of which you can check out the page here. More after the break
From the above Bluetooth certification I noticed that the GT-I9250 and the SCH-i515 are linked in the documentation, clicking on the PICS link next to the Qualified Design ID for the GT-i9250 (QD ID: B018447) you get a window which has a combined Qualified Design link to the SCH-i515 (QD ID: B018393) so this pretty much links these particular models.
Now some clarification, there appears to be two phones being bandied about as the Nexus Prime or Nexus Droid Prime, the SCH-i515 (Nexus Droid Prime) which passed through the FCC yesterday for it`s Wifi certification with its Droid branding looks to be the US carrier Verizon`s CDMA based Nexus & the GT-i9250 (Nexus Prime)and the GT-i9250 will be the GSM/AWS based Nexus for the other carriers.
So now the GT-i9250 & SCH-i515 have both received Bluetooth and WiFi certification which means they`re still on track for an October-December release. The other confirmation needs to come from Google or Samsung themselves that these models are indeed the next Ice-Cream Sandwich laden Nexus iterations.
I just wish someone would announce SOMETHING so I can decide whether or not to bother replacing my N1

On another note, you could of put “certification” instead of certified. Just a thought.
The headline is simply assuming the label “Bluetooth certified”. On the other hand “could of” is just plain bad grammar. It’s “could have”. Think of the context: they have put, they could have put. “of” just doesn’t fit.
