It`s summer so that means it’s cricket season(much to my wife’s dismay). The most exciting form of the game is in my opinion the 20/20 and the KFC Big Bash is about to kick off on the 16th of December. In order to help you follow the series and your favourite team, Cricket Australia has teamed up with Reactive to bring you an Android App.
The free app which is available in the Android Market allows you to select the team you follow from the 8 available teams : Brisbane Heat, Hobart Hurricanes, Sydney Sixers, Sydney Thunder, Melbourne Renegade, Melbourne Stars, Adelaide Strikers & the Perth Scorchers. The app then delivers info about your team such as live cricket scores and player stats, Match video highlights, tweets from your team and behind the scenes videos & player interviews, the app will even notify you when a game is coming up so you never miss one.
The only caveat is that they have a note on the app : ‘Please note that anonymous data usage for this app will be collected’, it is anonymous so can’t be too harmful but just so you’re aware. I’ve loaded it up on my phone in preparation, you can see from the screenshots below the app does work on Ice Cream Sanwdwich as well. Can’t wait to try this out, I’ll be following the Sydney Sixers, who’s your team?
