Telstra’s software updates page states that HTC is indeed working on Android 4.1 “Jelly Bean” updates for the 4G-capable One XL and the newly released One S. There is no confirmed date for the release of these updates, however we know they won’t be rolling out within the next month if HTC’s track record is anything to go by.
As we’ve heard nothing from HTC — we’ll be contacting them, though — we can’t confirm yet if this update will be 4.1 or 4.1.1, and what changes Sense UI will have. All of these questions and more to be answered in the very near future we hope. We’ll update you as we hear more.
still waiting for ics on thr htc incredible s
What about the Velocity, it is 4G, do you think it will be included?
I also have the velocity and haven’t heard anything about a JellyBean update either.
How about the non-Google Galaxy Nexus, Samsung? How about it, huh?
Good. Hopefully they get bluetooth working so my XL can connect to my car.
Must be your car, as Bluetooth works well in mine with my XL.
hi when do contact htc could you please also ask them about the one x?
Have done 🙂
thanks 🙂
I wonder if the update will fix all your multi-tasking woes Buzz.
I really hope so. Not for me, but for existing users.
My One XL is for sale if anyone is interested.
Why?
Because I don’t want it..
How much?
