The 8GB Nexus 7 is no longer available and the 16GB version of the Nexus 7 is now back in stock in the Google Play Devices section at a new price of $249 and has been joined by its rumoured bigger brother the 32GB version which is also available for purchase now for $299. Shipping for the devices is additional and adds $19.99 to the price and devices ship within 3-5 Business days. Specifications appear to be unchanged apart from the storage and no option for a 3G version is available at this stage, you can only get Wi-Fi versions.
EDIT : 3G Version has been announced but does not appear available as yet ‘Nexus 7 (32GB, WiFi + Mobile data, Unlocked) is not available in your country’ check out the Nexus 7 32GB HSPA page.

The OS version is still showing as Android 4.1 unlike the Nexus 4 and Nexus 10 which show Android 4.2, but I am sure they will be pushing out an OTA to these models as well as the 8GB and existing 16GB models soon.

You will note also that the options for accessories have now changed for the Nexus 7 as well, the Nexus 7 Cover is now showing options for the Lite Blue and Pink as well as the Dark Grey but you can still only register your interest in them by entering your email address to be notified when they are available at this stage. The Nexus 7 charger is also showing a price now and will be available to order for $25 but again you can only register your interest.

Jump onto the Nexus 7 16GB or 32Gb Nexus 7 in the Google Play Devices section now and check them out.
