Samsung has announced – by way of a post on their SamsungTomorrow Flickr account, of all places – that they’ve sold 3 million Galaxy Note II’s since launch in just 37 days.
Galaxy Note II, the follow-up version of Galaxy Note which opened a new category of smart mobile devices by Samsung as a market creator, surpassed the sales threshold of 3 million units. Samsung Electronics announced on Nov. 2nd that the Galaxy Note II set the accumulated sales record of 3 million from the supply side in only 37 days after its release. The sales of Galaxy Note II are growing three times faster than that of the previous Galaxy Note.
This appears to be units supplied, rather than sold to consumers, but given the popularity of the original Galaxy Note and the anticipation of its successor, those retail sales won’t be too far away.
The Galaxy Note II is yet to be officially released in Australia. The Australian launch event is scheduled for Wednesday, November 14. We’ve already reviewed the device on import.
Has anyone seen the Samsung hands on display at Melbourne Central? I asked for a try of the Galaxy Note 2 and they say they didn’t have one and don’t know when it will be available in Australia. That seems real pathetic to me – how hard can it be to get one for a demo at least…
My note II 4G arrived yesterday, so far its all good! Cant wait to head into the CBD and try out 4G
Errrr… the subject line needs some TLC, there is no apostrophe for plural.

I’ve already got one, brilliant phone if you don’t mind the size
