We’ve heard rumours of delays to the HTC One being delivered, but more concrete information from HTC itself suggests that these delays aren’t all they’re cracked up to be. In fact, we should be seeing availability of the HTC One as early as next week in the UK, Germany and Taiwan. Of course, local dates will vary depending on carriers (as per usual), but the wait is definitely not long.
As for the rest of us, it looks like countries across Europe, North America and Asia Pacific should be seeing the arrival of the HTC One by the end of April. Again, no specific dates have been offered by HTC, but we know that the HTC One is likely to be a popular choice amongst the carriers in Australia, and I’d imagine we’ll see it available on all major carriers roughly around the same time.
HTC’s statement:
HTC has seen unprecedented demand for and interest in the new HTC One, and the care taken to design and build it is evidenced in early reviews. The new HTC One will roll out in the UK, Germany and Taiwan next week and across Europe, North America and most of Asia-Pacific before the end of April. We appreciate our customers’ patience, and believe that once they have the phone in their hands they will agree that it has been worth the wait.
Meh. Any half decent photographer will tell you that mega pixels account for about 15% of a camera’s performance. If that. The rest is optics, ability to manipulate and capture light, processing etc. The HTC One has these in droves. Can’t wait.
Though I’m sure if it’s released within the same time frame with the galaxy S4, unless HTC gives some major initiatives to carriers to help sell their phones, sale figures will definitely be affected.
23 of April in Australia..

Would love to know your source George — let us know and we’ll update the post 🙂
I’d like some source with that too please
Well delay + wrong choice of camera really make me thinking of switch over to S4 even though I don’t like Samsung
