When Telstra, Vodafone and Optus announced their pricing and plans for the Samsung Galaxy Note 3, Virgin Mobile advised they would be waiting to announce their plans this week, today they’ve announced that they are now taking pre-orders for the oversized phone on their web site for launch on the 3rd of October.
The plans start from as little as $30 per month – with a $23 Handset payment – on a 24 month contract and range all the way up to the fully featured ‘Irresistible Plan’ gives you the phone with no handset repayments but has a $140 per month fee. Existing Virgin Mobile customers who upgrade to the Virgin Mobile $40 plan on the 24 month contract will receive double the data inclusion for a total of 1GB per month for the length of their contract.
We’re waiting to hear back from Virgin Mobile about any plans to release the Samsung Galaxy Gear or if they intend to sell the Galaxy Note 3 outright and we’ll update this post as soon as we get an answer.
UPDATE: Virgin Mobile has advised that they will not be selling the Galaxy Gear and will also not be selling the Galaxy Note 3 outright.
