The HTC One Max has been rumoured for a fairly long time and invites are now being sent out for an event to be held in Kaohsiung, Taiwan – HTC’s home turf – on October 18th at 6pm local time at least according to Engadget, who reportedly have been invited along.
With the invite containing the words:
One finger opens up a big view
You are invited to immerse in the sound with us
The inference from these phrases is on a HTC One Max with the famous BoomSound as well as a Fingerprint scanner which has been rumoured to be part of the specs on the One Max and seemingly confirmed by recent repeated leaks, the most recent leak saw the device heading through the FCC indicating that a launch is imminent.
The event will be taking place in Taiwan at 6pm which translates to a leisurely 9PM Australian Eastern Daylight Time here in Australia, we’re attempting to find out if the event will be streamed on the web and will report back with any links we find.
UPDATE:
Apparently, Engadget has received an updated invite for October 16th. Hoping to find out more about this event soon.
