HTC has released a video to accompany the launch of the One Max.
The production highlights many features of the One Max, including its aluminium body, large 5.9″ Full HD screen and BoomSound stereo speakers. The “swipe finger down” fingerprint scanner is demonstrated, as is the new Sense 5.5 user interface with BlinkFeed home screen (on which you’ll find some of our content).
HTC’s famous UltraPixel camera also gets a look in on the video, showing off its Sweep Panorama and dual capture video recording features as well as HTC’s innovative Zoe gallery. The new Scribble app, a note-taking app that lets you get creative with editing and drawing on your messages, is also shown off. As with the original One, there’s also a handy notification light hidden behind the speaker grille.
The video also shows off the One Max’s official flip case that houses a 1200 mAh battery that will add further endurance to the existing 3300 mAh battery. It connects via pogo pins on the back of the phone. A toggle on the side of the phone allows you to open the back case and access the microSIM and microSD card slots, though the battery is fixed and can’t be accessed here.
