NetherRealm Studios are releasing a companion game for Android for their PlayStation 3, Wii U, Xbox 360 and PC game, also called Batman: Arkham Origins. The Australian release for the console version is the 25th of October, with the Android release of the beat-em-up version following soon after.
Batman: Arkham Origins is a prequel to the critically acclaimed “Batman: Arkham Asylum” (2009) and “Batman: Arkham City” (2011), set in the early days of Bruce Wayne’s career as Batman.
The Android version of Arkham Origins will be a beat-em-up fighting game, featuring four locations initially – Uptown Gotham, The Docks, Downtown Gotham and the Industrial District.
Although the game will be free, there are upgraded suits that can be purchased or earned – such as the original “Arkham Origins” Bat suit, Red Son which comes from an alternate Earth when Bruce Wayne lived in the USSR, Earth Two which is owned by the Batman of the parallel universe, the Arkham Origins Mark III, the ThrillKiller suit, the New 52 and the WWII era Liberty Files suit.
Combatants that Batman must defeat are Electrocutioner, Deathstroke, Deadshot and more.

Freemium. Just say NO!
Agree totally. This freemium crap is really nothing more than a money-making ploy. Just let me pay the price for the game once and I’ll be good to go…this model for IAPs means I need to pay for every device rather than paying once and installing it on multiple devices…
