Square Enix has released what they say is a full 3D remake of Final Fantasy IV: The After Years on Android. This sequel takes place 17 years after the events of Final Fantasy IV and features several new players, such as Ceodore, son of Cecil and Rosa.
You begin with Ceodore’s Tale. Complete it to unlock the tales of six additional characters, which can be played in any order, and then return to the core story with Kain’s Tale, The Lunarian’s Tale, and The Crystals. Final Fantasy IV: The After Years promises to be an epic game, matched by it’s equally epic price of $16.99.
Please note that FFIV: The After Years isn’t compatible with Android 4.4 devices running ART – you’ll have to revert to Dalvik runtime to play this game.
