OnePlus is continuing the strategic ‘leaks’ that have kept interest in their upcoming debut phone launch, by releasing a tease overnight on the European pricing of the One, stating it will be launched in the European market for under €350.

A direct conversion from Euro to AUD will show that €350 equals AUD$520.24, but we live in the real world so of course an ‘Australia Tax’ will be included. That’s still a decent deal for a phone that includes a Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 Processor, 3100mAh Battery, 5.5″ 1080P JDI Display, 6 Piece Lens setup paired with a 13MP f/2.0 Sony Exmor IMX214 Camera sensor and a range of StyleSwap replaceable Back Covers in five different textures – Silk, Sandstone, Denim, Bamboo, and Kevlar.

We’ve yet to see any details on Australian availability or pricing but we’ll let you know as soon as OnePlus get back to us.

What price do you think the OnePlus will launch at here in Australia?

It’s apparently has a 5.5″ screen in the body of a 5″ screen phone. That’s what they mean.

5.5″! Grrrr….Too big for me…I will go for Nexus 5 then

Don’t overlook them, they’ve apparently squeezed the 5.5″ display into the body of a phone that normally has a 5″ display –

Its difficult to predict – usually we pay more. But the Nexus 5 (16gb) in the UK sells on google play for 300 pounds, which is almost $600 at the current exchange rate. Yet we only pay $400 in Australia. We may get a pleasant surprise (or not !)
