NotePRO TabPRO

Optus has announced this morning that the Samsung Galaxy NotePro 12.2 is now available on Optus’ nationwide 4G network, and can be purchase from today via telephone sales, online and in selected retail stores.

The Galaxy NotePro, announced earlier this year at CES,is a 12.2″ giant of a tablet, with 4 million pixels to display things on, multi-window multitasking for those who want to do more, and handwriting recognition courtesy of Samsung’s now-ubiquitous S-Pen.

Those wanting to get their hands on such a tablet can find them on the Optus $20 Mobile Broadband plan, albeit with a whopping $43-a-month tablet repayment. For the $63 a month, you get 1.5GB of data (which on Optus’ 4G network could last you as little as a few minutes), and a total minimum cost of $1,512 over 24 months.

Today, the tablet is available for sale at Optus’ Bourke St store in Melbourne, or you can grab it online or via telephone sales as well (more info here).

The Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) is also now available in all Optus stores. Previously made available in select stores, the 4G-capable tablet is now more widely available. With a 10.1″ display and S-Pen as well, you can grab this tablet for just $34 a month for an included 100MB of use, but this is next to nothing. If you want more data, higher plans are of course available.
