A new line of Samsung tablets named the Galaxy Tab S series is widely expected to be launched at an event called ‘Tab into Color’ in New York on the 12th of June. One of the tablets expected to be launched is the Galaxy Tab S 10.5, which has already surfaced in the form of an accidental leak by Samsung itself of support pages for the tablet onto their Venezualan and Spanish websites, but here you can see the first press renderings of the tablet.
The tablet will apparently come with the same dimpled textured rear as on the Galaxy S5, but is shown here only in the greyish colour, but could possibly come with the same colour choices as the Galaxy S5, who knows?
Specs for the tablet will apparently include a 10.5″ 2560×1600 AMOLED screen, 1.9GHz/1.3GHz Octa-Core processor in the ARM big.LITTLE configuration, there will be 3 GB of RAM, and run Samsung’s customised version of Android 4.4.2 KitKat. Also rumoured for the June 12th event are 8.4″ and 13.3″ models which should look identical in design, if not in specs.
Stay tuned and we’ll see what happens on June 12th (8am 13th of June AEST for those playing at home) where you’ll be able to watch a live stream of the event on Samsung Mobile’s YouTube channel. Head on over to the Source to check out some more pics.
