Last week we reported that LG’s latest and newest L series devices, the L40, would be coming soon to retailers after it appeared on the LG Australia website. well it seems the phone is now available from Boost Mobile.
The L series certainly has been a very popular series of devices, more so for the entry level or pre-paid market which have helped LG come back as a dominant player in the both the global, as well as Australian Android market. Whilst the L40 doesn’t offer the latest and greatest high end specs, it certainly still offers some decent specs for the market this smartphone is aimed for.
The L40 specs include:
- 3.5” Screen
- 1.2GHz Dual Core Qualcomm processor
- 512MB RAM
- 4GB on-board storage with microSD Card slot up to 32GB
- 3MP Rear Camera with Multipoint Autofocus and Fast Snapshot
- WiFi 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS
- Radio
- GSM: 850/900/1800/1900
- 3G: 850/2100
- Android 4.4.2(KitKat)
- 1540mAh Battery
- 109mm x 59mm x 12mm
The L40 brings with it the major software features that the higher end handsets contain software wise, such as Knock Code, Guest Mode and Plug and Pop but packed into a smaller and slightly less powerful, but more compact body, with a lower price tag to match.
The LG L40 is now available to purchase through the Boost Mobile website for $99 as well as boost mobile resellers such as JB HiFi and is available in either Black or White.
