Seems Motorola has some issues with secrecy in Brazil, after having the Moto E specs outed just days prior to the launch by a phone shop in Brazil, it seems they’ve leaked the specs on Motorolas upcoming flagship replacement – the Moto X+1.
The site who leaked the details – livrarialogos – is showing an old picture of the Moto X, so no press renders have gone up for the phone as yet. So, like any ‘leak’ take this with a grain of salt. Droid-life who originally reported on the leak advised that there was a rider (which has since been removed) that stated they were waiting for confirmation from Motorola – perhaps that confirmation arrived? Anyway, full specs listed for the Moto X+1 include :
- 5.2″ Full HD (1920×1080)
- 2.26GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800
- 2GB
- 32GB on-board storage with micro SD (up to 128GB)
- 12MP rear, 5MP front
- WiFi, 4G/3G/2G, Bluetooth, NFC
- Android 4.4.4 (KitKat)
- 2,900mAh
The specs on the screen at least marry up with previous leaks, making it look at least a fairly solid insight into what we may see later in the year. Motorola announced back in February that we would see the replacement for the Moto X+1 around the same time of year that the Moto X launched, stating ‘Later this summer’.
No invites to any Motorola events have been sent out at this stage, so a full launch of the Moto X+1 is not expected just yet. Of course the big question is: Will it launch in Australia in a reasonable time-frame?
What do you think of these specs and will it launch here in Australia in a reasonable time?
And will the 360 launch with it?
this information is not true, this website has no values here in Brazil! do not believe
Dan, I would think the big question to start with regarding the X+1 is: Will it launch in Australia at all?
Seems likely we’ll get it, maybe a question of when. I think you’ll find Motorola has heard us regarding the Moto X’s US-only launch disappointment.
