Google continues to take on the giant of the productivity world, Microsoft, with further changes being made to their Google Docs web app. Now when you import or work on a .docx file the tracked changes are not only present, but you can make “suggested changes” within the Drive application too. This is a very useful feature that has kept me from transferring to Drive completely for a while now and may be the final piece of the puzzle.
Google clearly have Microsoft in their sights as a potential market that they can grab a big portion of and the recent changes to Sheets and now Docs suggest that they’re making a big push.
