HTC has been slowly introducing their Desire line back to Australia, and it seems to be going quite well, with all three major carriers currently offering a phone carrying the HTC Desire branding, it looks like we could see one more very soon, with the Desire 510 about to hit our shores.
The same leak we received regarding the Motorola Moto G2 launching soon also contained another nugget, this time regarding the HTC Desire 510. While there doesn’t seem to be any information about a HTC Desire 510 out there, but from the specs listed here it appears to be a fairly mid-range device :
Listed with a 4.7″ WVGA (800×480) SuperLCD display, 1.2GHz Quad-Core processor, with 8GB of on-board storage with microSD expandable memory and a 5MP camera, the phone isn’t too shabby. The Desire 510 also seems to pack both a 3G and 4G radio to offer a decent low to mid-range offering.
The software will be Android 4.4.4 and will obviously carry the Sense overlay, most likely Sense 6. With Sense 6, you should receive all the nice goodies such as Blinkfeed and Zoes, but we’ll have to wait for the release to be sure.
Its listed as ‘Coming Soon’ so that could be any-time in the next couple of months. Pricing wise, it should be fairly competitive with phones such as the Moto G 4G, and possibly even the Kogan Agora 4G.
Does this sound like something you’d like?
