Brazilian site Livraria Logos are at it again. They leaked the Moto E press renders early, they also have had a go leaking the specs for the Moto X+1 previously and today, they’ve done it again, adding some details on a new custom rear shell material: Leather.
Droid-life have found the listings – again removed quickly – which previously appeared, but with a smaller spec listing and the new materials listed. The Leather or back-plate ‘couro’ as it’s listed on the site in Portugese, will join Wood, well Bamboo according to the ‘bambu’ description, as well as – we assume – the normal plastic type shells, which Livraria Logos tell us will come in Black (‘preto’). The introduction of Leather is no surprise, with Evan Blass of @evleaks predicting this all the way back in April this year.
The model # listed on the site corroborates the XT1097 model designator which dropped past Geekbench recently, though some of the specs listed are slightly different. The site lists a 5.2″ HD Display, 2.2GHz Quad-Core processor with 2GB RAM and 16GB storage. The massive camera ring on the rear will house an upgraded 13MP camera sensor and the phone will come with the latest version of Android: 4.4.4 (KitKat).
The site has also listed the ‘Titan’ for Motorola, which we will probably know as the Moto G2 shortly. The phone specs listed backs up our leak that the Moto G2 will arrive with a 5″ Display, 1.2GHz Quad-Core processor, and 8MP camera but their model lists 16GB storage as opposed to the 8GB model we seem to be destined to receive in Australia. Also listed is 1GB of RAM, all of which should make for quite a decently specced and priced device.
We fully expect to see both the Moto X+1 and the Moto G2 on the 4th of September when Motorola are also expected to announce the Moto 360 as well. We know the Moto G2 is coming to Australia, we just hope the Moto X+1 will arrive here in a timely fashion this time around.
