The HTC built Nexus 9 has been shown off in renders all day today, but a Vietnamese site has managed to get their hands on the tablet and the coveted folio keyboard case as well.
The photos showed up on Vietnamese forum Techrum, where forum user tdiddy-2 posted a bunch of pictures of the tablet which show it off both in and out of the keyboard case. The keyboard folio case, which will act as a smart cover attaches to the rear of the Nexus 9 using magnets and seems to fit in there quite comfortably. Afixing the case to the rear leaves those front-facing BoomSound style speakers free to deliver some quality sound, although the jury is still out on the 4:3 aspect ratio for video playback.
There is a shot in the middle which appears to show off multiple covers in the background which offer different colours. Perhaps a sign of different options when the case goes live with the tablet on Google Play?
The tablet/keyboard case looks set to make for quite the productive work station. But, it will all come down to how good that keyboard is. Google advises that the keyboard contains mechanical keys, so we’re hoping it’s great. We’ll find out more as soon as we can get our hands on one.
Are you going to buy a Keyboard Folio Case with the Nexus 9?
Thats a nice looking roll.
So keen to find out availability and pricing of the keyboard. I am always on the move with work and now Virgin/Qantas allow the use of electronic devices during the entire flight I am so keen to hear some reviews on the keyboard.
