samsung-galaxy-a7-leak-2014-12-03-01
It seems Samsung is far from finished releasing thin, all-metal, mid-range smartphones according to the leaked image above, which was supplied as the phone passed through the Chinese telecommunications equipment certification center: Tenaa.

The specs, which have been listed on the Tenaa website, provide a more updated spec list compared to the Galaxy Alpha which was released here in Australia earlier this year. From what we can tell the new Galaxy A7 will come with a 5.5-inch display with a FullHD 1080p display with a 64-bit Snapdragon 615 CPU powering the device. The Galaxy A7 will also come with 2GB of RAM and 16GB on board storage, though that storage won’t be expandable. There will also be a 13-megapixel rear camera with a 5-megapixel front facing camera, though no mention of Optical Image Stabilisation is mentioned.

It seems though, that the Galaxy A7 pictured above will only be for the Chinese market, but an international version could also be on the cards. But even still, its not clear whether we will see the phone launched in Australia, it would be dependent on how well the Galaxy Alpha was received here. There is also no mention of when the device will be announced but we’ll be watching and ready to ask Samsung when they make the A7 official.
