After we got a good look at the rear of the LG G4 courtesy of an alleged leak which occurred yesterday, NoWhereElse.Fr – the apparent site behind the Onleaks Twitter handle who supplied yesterdays leak – has come up with more alleged renders of the G4.
The new renders show the same back render which shows the re-designed volume rocker and power button, as well as the Laser Auto-Focus and Dual-LED flash and what appears to be a larger camera sensor. We do get a better look at the speaker holes on the rear in this render, which shows a configuration of machined holes drilled into the rear.
The front is a little more interesting showing what appears to be an over-size front-facing camera sensor next to a side mounted speaker.
The curve of the phone which appeared to be more prominent on the rear render yesterday, doesn’t appear on the front. It does appear to have the same design characteristics as the recent mid-range phones announced by LG prior to MWC.
Close up those phones all have an overly curved rear, but a flat facing front, so this is possibly what we’ll also see on the G4 when it launches. When it launches is the big question and we’ll be definitely be keen to check out the latest LG flagship this year.
Eh, expected more for something that was supposed to be ‘radically different’.
Hope the software and internals are more exciting than the hardware design.
I actually like the look of it. Its simple yet elegant and the back looks like it will fit in the hand nicely. I just wish their skin was stripped back somewhat.
