Ever wanted to go behind the scenes at Google to find out what makes the company tick? Well guess what, you can; no not literally but thanks to two Googlers using their 20% time (flexible work time that Google gives employees to work on projects they have thought up) to create a YouTube show called Nat & Lo’s 20% Project.
To me this is a really cool idea, very giving of them to dedicate their time to the understanding outside Google of what happens (behind the scenes) within the company, not just the public facing side of the company.
Their introduction video talking about their project is already life and there’s already a couple of episodes on their YouTube Channel already outlining the street view trekker project and how projects like this get off the ground so head over to YouTube and check it out.
Given the number of views on their videos in a short period of time, it would appear that their 20% project has captured a fair audience instantly. I know I’ve subscribed to their channel, have you?
Google is a massive company with a lot on the go, what would you like to see next from Nat and Lo?
Looks interesting
