It seems Samsung is looking at releasing a smaller, mini version of the Galaxy S6 with pictures now being leaked into the internet of a Galaxy S6 Mini. Unfortunately we don’t have any specifications relating to the hardware powering the device, but we do get a good look at the phone.
From what we understand, the Galaxy S6 Mini which will become a real thing, just like the Galaxy S6 Active has become recently – at least in the US. From the leaks, we understand that the Galaxy S6 Mini will follow the very same design language as its larger flagship sibling.
There have been rumours as to what the upcoming Galaxy S6 Mini will have under that stylish glass hood, with speculation pointing towards a Snapdragon 808 SoC, 2GB of RAM and either 4.6″ or 4.7″ screen with 720p resolution. Further more, rumours include talk of a 15 MP rear camera.
Of course, like all rumours and leaks, we suggest you take this all with a grain of salt until Samsung officially announce the Galaxy S6 Mini. However, given the almost complete device in the picture, we wouldn’t be surprised if Samsung come out with the next iteration of the Galaxy S6 on August 13, which is the same date that has been linked with the possible launch of the Galaxy S6 edge+ and Galaxy Note 5.
Until then, we can only speculate and continue to trawl through the rumours and leaks to find out more about the next versions of Galaxy S6 from Samsung.
