Samsung is releasing a new smartwatch. The watch has been a surety since they invited developers to get early access in April. They ramped up teasing at the end of the recent Galaxy Unpacked event in New York and have now released a video teasing its new Gear S2 smartwatch.
The video, which gives some insight into not only what it could possibly look like, but also focuses more on the variety of screens users will end up having the pleasure of choosing and using. A date and location of the IFA event for Samsung is was confirmed at the end of the video, being Berlin 03.09.2015.

Of course, Samsung has also revealed a couple pictures on screen at its event in NYC when the Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy S6 Edge+ was revealed and the “Lookbook” promotional shots along with todays video confirmed the Gear S2 will be a round smartwatch.

Though we have the video and promotional pictures, there has been no word or leaks about the exact details and specs of the smartwatch. We will be bringing you all the action from this years IFA, so keep an eye out for more on the Gear S2 as it happens.

This looks like it’s been customised from standard Android Wear – which I dont believe they are allowed to do?
Would that suggest another Tizen watch?
It’s almost certainly Tizen, the existing Gear line uses Tizen apart from the Gear Live.
