If wandering down a catwalk as a fashion model has ever been on the list of things you’ve always wanted to experience, then Oppo and the RMIT University can help you out with Twitter’s live video streaming app Periscope.
Starting at 6:30pm tomorrow, Sunday the 30th of August, Oppo Australia will begin their live Periscope broadcast through the @OppoMobileAU Periscope account. The stream with a link you can view in the iOS or Android app will be advertised on their Twitter account, and you’ll also be able to watch it on the web.
RMIT University Head of School of Fashion and Textiles, Professor Robyn Healy, welcomed new technology on the catwalk.
Testing this new technology on the runway during Melbourne Spring Fashion Week with emerging designers from RMIT’s Fashion Design Honors program emulates where the future direction of fashion is going. Leading edge technology helps shape fashion, design and textiles, which are often unveiled and seen for the first time on the catwalk.
The broadcast will last for 30 minutes and give you a good idea of the fashions being presented by RMIT for Melbourne Spring Fashion Week. If you’re actually in the area, you can head on down to see Oppo at MSFW tomorrow for your chance to win an Oppo R7, or grab a voucher for $50 off an R7 Plus at Dick Smith.
