Following recent speculation that Sony may be releasing a Pink variant of one of their handsets, possibly the Sony Xperia Z5, they have teased on their social channels that they will be “Celebrating a new beauty” today January 12th at 12 noon (AEDT) and 11 am (AEST for you Queenslanders). Looking back at Sony Xperia’s Twitter timeline, the term beauty is used to describe the Xperia C5 Ultra so it’s not outside the realm of possibility that that device could be getting a colour make over.

It seems unlikely Sony will announce they are moving to Android Cupcake so perhaps the pink icing is the focus of our attention? With such such a short timeline it won’t be long until we find out exactly what Sony has up their sleeve.
