The Nexus Developer files page has always been a source for Factory Images and Binaries for your Nexus (or lately Pixel C) devices, but as of today the page now features links to the full OTA images as well.

The site received an update, which now requires you to tick an agreement that you have read and agree with the terms and conditions listed on the site, before you proceed to the downloads. The site now lists Nexus Factory Images, Latest Nexus OTA Images and Nexus Binaries as shortcuts on the left hand side of the page. Once you tick the box, the rest of the page is revealed.

If you hit the link to the OTA images, you’ll note they aren’t the monthly XXXXX to XXXXX incremental updates, these are full OTA images, and Google again warns you about knowing what you’re doing before applying them. There’s a handy guide on using ADB to apply the updates as well, which makes for a good official resource.

There’s a few iterations of OTA Images listed, so you can now download the desired OTA Images image required to get your device up to the correct level.

You can check it out over on the Nexus files for Developers page as it’s known.

Just patched my 5X to the May security patch level with this. Finally there’s no need for me to wait for someone to grab the OTA link.
