After announcing the Moto 360 Sport at IFA in September last year, it looks like Lenovo has finally brought the watch to Australia.

The Moto 360 Sport offers a lot to the fitness enthusiast including a Silicon band for a more comfortable feeling while working out, as well as an in-built GPS to track your run/bike/walk or outdoor activity. The Moto 360 also includes an optical heart rate monitor and is charged like the other Moto 360 models through wireless inductive charging.

In his review earlier this year, Duncan seemed to take quite a shine to the watch, saying ‘the Moto 360 Sport delivers everything I initially wanted out of an Android Wear Device; always on screen, all day battery life, notification, voice control and media controls, and that’s for starters’.

While no official announcement has been made, the watch is now featuring heavily on the Motorola Australia website. The watch can’t be purchased online through the Moto Online store like the Moto G3, Moto G4 Plus or the standard Moto 360 Gen 2…yet, but if you’re after a Moto 360 Sport you can purchase one from Harvey Norman. The watch is available in White, Black or the very distinctive ‘Flame Orange’ colour option for $447:

If you have been waiting for the Moto 360 Sport to be your next device, then head to the Harvey Norman website to check them out.

Awww… they changed the status to ‘PreOrder NOW! Coming Soon’.

It seems a bit odd they would launch it just before IFA. Perhaps there is no new 360 coming. Or there is and Australia isn’t getting it.
