There’s a lot of on the go charging options on the market which range from offering enough power to top you up for a few hours, to a portable battery capable of charging your phone and/or tablet several times over. The issue users face is knowing what will work well for you and protect your hardware but Belkin have an option with the MIXIT Power Rockstar that offers 10,000 mAh of power and protection for your hardware.
Like many of the other offerings on the market you’ll get a nice looking, solid device with plenty of power to charge your devices. There’s a couple of area’s that the MIXIT excels above the cheaper marketplace offerings. A $2,500 Connected Equipment Warranty offers peace of mind and 2 x 2.4 Amp USB sockets means you can charge a couple of high power or fast charging devices simultaneously.
While there’s cheaper options out there when it comes to portable power, that warranty does offer some protection when you’re charging some pretty expensive gear. The new MIXIT Power RockStar is available now for a RRP of $119.95 from JB Hi-Fi, Harvey Norman, The Good Guys and Myer across Australia and New Zealand.
What features do you look at when you are purchasing a portable battery?
No USB-C? In 2017, I don’t think that’s acceptable.
Despite the price, where’s the 3A fast charging?
Why would anyone buy this when the xiaomi ones are so much cheaper
Because it’s a better known and trusted brand in western markets like Australia. I’d purchase the Xiaomi but not everybody reads Ausdroid and is as clued up as you or I apparently 😉
A 10,000 mAh pack should not cost more than 30$.
