If you’re thinking “Yes, I want to port my number to Optus prepaid”, there are two deals available right now to make it easier and cheaper for you to check the network out.
Firstly until August 14 2017 you can get a free Optus prepaid SIM express home delivered. This would usually cost $2. This does not come with any usage credit — you’ll need to recharge it to be able to use it.
Alternately, until July 7 2017 you can save on your first month with Optus prepaid by purchasing the $40 SIM Starter Kit for half price $20. This also includes free express home delivery.
You can use the $40 recharge credit in several different ways: Long Expiry (186 days) and Daily Maximiser (1GB/day for 20 days within a 28 day period @ $2/day) are good options, but I’d go for Ultimate Plus if I was testing the network.
