Motorola are yet to announce their 2017 flagship but so far all signs are pointing towards it being a Moto Z2 Force. We have seen official renders and apparent specs leak and now it seems that the upcoming Moto Z2 Force has also been captured in the wild.
As with so many leaks these days the new photos have originated from Chinese social media site Weibo. The images don’t really add anything of value to what we already knew but they do add substance and confirmation to the previous leaks. There are the previously leaked dual rear cameras, the pogo pins for the Moto Mods, the power and volume buttons are on the same side and there is one hell of a big bezel down the bottom on the front of the device to house the device name and fingerprint reader.
The rumoured specs include a 5.5″ Plastic OLED (POLED) QHD (2560×1440) resolution shatterproof display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 CPU with 4GB and 6GB RAM variants. The internal storage will be either 64GB or 128GB with a microSD card slot in both. The battery is expected to be just 2,730mAh which is a step down from its 2016 predecessor.
Of course none of these details are confirmed although they are looking likely. We will find out all the gritty details in a couple of days when Motorola hold their launch event in New York on the 25th of July. We will bring you all the details as soon as we have them on hand.
