The upcoming Note 8 launch isn’t leaving a real lot to the imagination, but as they say, it’s not official until it’s Official. That said, Evan Blass – the best name in the leaking game – has again come through with another press render of the Note 8 to whet your appetite for the launch.
Though the render is similar to what we’ve already seen, at least a couple of times already, this is Evan, so we trust this leak implicitly.
The render is in ‘Midnight Black’ but we’ve heard that Samsung will also be bringing the phone out in Orchid Grey and a new ‘Deep Blue’ colour option. The only other comment we have is that the phone has that damn Bixby button on the side – a useless appendage for a service that hasn’t launched here in Australia, and has no timetable for launch.
Anyway – Here it is:

Update:
It seems Evan has been busy, adding a picture of the rear of the Midnight Black Galaxy Note 8, and adding in front and rear shots of the Gold model of the Galaxy Note 8, as well as the corresponding S Pen for both models.

We’ll be following along with the launch of the Note 8 quite closely, so stay tuned for any more info.
Launching a phone for around $1500 AUD with a dedicated button for Bixby that doesn’t have full functionality and can’t be remapped without installing a third party app which eventually gets blocked by a software update shows how arrogant Samsung really are. I refuse to buy a phone with a Bixby button and a curved screen that’s nothing more than a gimmick and serves no real purpose other than being aesthetically pleasing.
Gee that pesky little button, to think it’s such a nuisance that you refuse to buy a phone with it, and that curved screen the best display on any phone available – such a gimmick, how arrogant of Samsung to curve it like that – I’m with you all the way……………said nobody ever
