Google Assistant is getting better smart home integration, making it easier for you to sync all your smart home devices. Google has added a new voice command ‘Sync my devices’ to let you refresh all your smart home services.
Google has added some new commands to their support documentation which will help if you’ve updated or added a new device to the native app for the new smart device. Simply saying ‘Ok (hey) Google “Sync my devices” or “Sync my lights”‘ will refresh the list of paired devices in your home.
I’ve had issues with some of my Yee lights not appearing for a brief time, so next time I’ll be trying this out. If you’ve had some issues maybe try this out and see if it helps.
