The OnePlus 6 is one of the most awaited phones so far this year. We have seen numerous leaks showing it in action as well as OnePlus themselves sharing tidbits here and there. With it set to be announced on the 16th of May and released not long after it is no surprise to see it pop up on the TENAA website in China today.
While most of the specs are no surprise it is good to see them from an “official” source. The TENAA spec sheet reveals that the OnePlus 6 will have a 6.28 inch 2280 x 1080P AMOLED display powered by a Snapdragon 845, 6GB of RAM and 64GB of onboard storage (in this version at least).
The battery will be a decent 3300mAh, be 155.7×75.35×7.75mm and weigh 177 grams. Not surprisingly it will begin life running Android 8.1 Oreo. All eyes are on the camera with the shooter the only thing holding back the OnePlus 5T of last year. The rear camera will be a 20MP/16MP combo, hopefully with decent software to match the expected decent hardware. The front facing selfie camera will show every single blemish at 16MP.
The OnePlus 6 is set to be revealed in a series of events beginning in London on the 16th of May, along with a special edition Avengers variant which is rumoured to have a Kevlar backing matching the texture in the Avengers logo on the box above. One thing for sure, it promises to be a lightning fast phone with some decent specs. Hopefully it can live up to the hype. I for one am looking forward to finding out. How about you?
