Huawei nova 3e now available from Vodafone

Huawei continue to make great phones throughout all segments of the smartphone market and they continue to do well, especially in the mid-range portion of the market. Their latest entry into this segment is the nova 3e (aka P20 Lite) and today they have announced that it is now available from Vodafone.

Via the Vodafone website or instore you can pick up a nova 3e for just $399 (which can be paid off interest free over 12, 24 or 36 months) in Midnight Black or the stunning Klein Blue with a bonus Marvel Avengers case (while stock lasts).

The nova 3e features a 16-megapixel and 2-megapixel dual camera, Quick Charge 2.0, 64GB memory with 4GB RAM, a 5.84-inch FullView Display FHD+ screen (2280×1080) in a 19.9 screen-to-body ratio. The nova 3e’s display is sharp and precise with retina HD and 432 pixels per inch and a contrast ratio of 1500:1 for richer colours and more natural skins tones.

By mapping 96 recognition points, the Huawei nova 3e’s 16MP front camera promises the perfect selfie with every shot, a pain point with digital cameras in lower-light conditions result in low-quality, grainy photos and poor colours. The Huawei nova 3e eliminates this by utilising light re-balancing technology that integrates light from different sources to optimise brightness and reduce signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) by 300 percent.

It runs Android 8.0 underneath EMUI 8.0 which will adapt to users’ habits through machine learning promising to keep the phone fast paced throughout its lifetime.

This phone really straddles the low end and mid-range device segments so for $399 to get a phone that looks this good and promises to run well from a company making some great smartphones well is a great deal.
