ZTE is getting back in the saddle after a rough middle of the year, and will likely have something interesting to announce at IFA this year if their teasing is to be believed. That teasing is getting less subtle with a render of the Axon 9 Pro being shared by the company ahead of next weeks announcement.
The render, via GizChina, shows a fairly sleek looking device in the same blue colour as background used in the teaser for the IFA launch. The render shows a fairly typical looking phone with dual rear camera sensors and fingerprint sensor on the back, with a display that covers almost the entire front of the phone.
The use of ‘Pro’ in the name suggests there will be a standard Axon 9 as well as the Axon 9 Pro, though it’s not always a sure thing – just look at HTC and the U12+ (no U12?). Specs are still shrouded in mystery, but ZTE’s Axon 7 launched with high-end specs and a budget price, so we can hope for a Snapdragon 845 to be on-board.
IFA kicks off next week with a press day full of announcements, so stay tuned to find out just what’s in store.
