The last Google Pay promotions were supposed to end on the 31st of August, and while the promotion offering a $10 Google Play credit for every one of your friends who join up has ended, you can still get Google Play credit for just using it.
The Google Pay promotion offering a $10 Google Play voucher if you sign up with an eligible card and use it five times (max one payment per day) within 30 days has been extended until the 31st of December. With more than 900,000 EFTPOS terminals in Australia, that means it’s easy to use Google’s tap & pay solution – and get your $10 of Google Play credit – once you sign up.
You can use your Google Play Credit on anything you want from the Play Store, including books, TV shows, movies, music, apps or games.
Adoption of Google Pay is still being sought, and promotions have been fairly consistent since it was introduced to Australia back in July of 2016.
Hmm… Is this the same Google that just updated the clock app on Android so we can be woken up to the sounds of Spotify? Who makes the decisions about this stuff?
