In case you missed it Google are announcing some new hardware on October 9 in New York. Aside from a new Pixelbook or 2, some new Pixelbuds and a surprise that we haven’t seen yet most likely there will of course be the appearance of a couple of Pixel phones, the Pixel 3 and the Pixel 3 XL.
Today Google are increasing the anticipation for their announcement with a new teaser appearing on their store. The image does not show much at all but does have a huge number 3, most likely for the Pixel 3 phones being announced in New York. The image has not shown up on my Google Store but it has on one of our writers, Duncan’s.
After we have seen Apple’s new offerings yesterday, and have seen leaks of the next OnePlus and Huawei flagships, both with under-display fingerprint sensor Google may well have their work cut out for them if they do not bring some form of innovation. Will the leaks prove to be true? Will it have the mother of all notches? Will it still have the fingerprint sensor on the back? Will there be wireless charging?
All will be revealed in under a month now and while Google normally doesn’t have to build the hype themselves this year they seem to be making an effort. Stay tuned to Ausdroid where we will bring you all the Pixel 3 news, leaks and rumours in the lead up to the #MadeByGoogle event in New York on October 9.
Ausdroid, do you guys believe in this Ultra Pixel 3 rumour? Seems to be making a little buzz, despite 0 evidence for it.
