Pixel season is one of the happiest times of the year. This year the phones have been repeatedly leaked and now Google is making no real secret of the phones teasing them on the Google Store, and now a little more in-depth on a Japanese site.

The site found at comingsoon2018jp.withgoogle.com shows a simple outline of what’s likely a Pixel 3 phone. The phones are shown from the rear with the top of the two panels showing a slightly higher position than the Pixel 2 phones as we’ve seen in the leaks.

There’s three colours on show on the site, with the ‘G’ logo on the rear a hotlink to flip through the colours. There’s the white with green highlight, likely what we’ve seen in the flesh which has a green power button, a more traditional black and a third mint coloured option that also includes confetti floating down – perhaps a more fun colour?

Google has done slightly quirky colour options previously – Red Nexus 5, Gold Nexus 6P, Really Blue Pixel – though some of them have been limited to select regions. Hopefully Google decides to roll out all three colours to all markets, but we’ll soon see.

There’s less than a month to go until Google reveals all, and we can’t wait.

What this indicates is that they are finally releasing Pixel in Japan which would hopefully also mean support for Felica payments such as Suica for public transport.

Can you please try to confirm that?

That’s the only reason I’d upgrade from Pixel2xl
