If you’re a fan of the faux leather look of fans such as the LG G4, Note 3/Note 4, then you’re in for a treat with a new Huawei phone with leather look showing up at the Chinese regulatory body.
The phone, in two colours has headed through TENAA, the Chinese equivalent of the US Federal Communications Commission (FCC). In addition to the leather-look back which includes fake stitching as well as the texture, the phone has a delicate tear-drop shaped notch in the screen.
There was rumours that the Mate 20 would come with leather-look backs, but given the phone in question has only two rear cameras (and a fingerprint sensor) it’s likely not the Mate 20 which is rumoured to be coming with at least 3 camera sensors on the rear.
We’ll probably see more of this one in the future, but until then it’s an interesting move to go the faux leather look.
