Just a month after launching their flagship Find X in Australia, OPPO has today announced that they’re launching a new edition of their Find X with Super VOOC charging, as well as the Find X Automobili Lamborghini Limited Edition to Australia.
The key word with the launch announcement is the inclusion of Super VOOC rapid charging, a charging system so fast you’ll scarcely believe it. Announced at the launch of the Find X in Paris earlier this year, Super VOOC Flash Charge uses a suite of patented OPPO technologies, combined with a bi-cell design (2 x 1700mAh batteries) equivalent to the power from a 3400 mAh battery to fully charge the phone from 0-100% full in just 35 minutes.
The Super VOOC Charging will be included in an updated edition of the Find X which will retail for $1,299 but brings with it updated on-board storage as well with a total of 256GB of memory. The updated edition of the Find X will be available exclusively through JB Hi-Fi for $1,299.
Also on the cards is the hot one – the Find X Automobili Lamborghini Limited Edition, a phone borne out of a partnership between OPPO and the Italian high-end car maker. The cars are fast, and so is the Super VOOC charging launching in the phone.
The Lamborghini edition phone features the same heart as the standard edition with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC and 8GB of RAM but ramps up the on-board storage to a massive 512GB. While the design of the Find X Automobili Lomborghini Edition is the same, with a curved 3D glass design a distinctive carbon fiber texture is present under the glass on the rear giving it a design flair similar to the high-end sports car.
The phone features a massive 25MP front camera sensor, as well as the 16MP+20MP rear sensors. That camera module slides up when you need it, and disappears when you don’t allowing OPPO to give the Find X a massive 6.4″ display that’s uninterrupted by any camera notches and an overall screen to body ratio of 93.8%.
The Find X Automobili Lamborghini Limited Edition comes in a special edition box, including a special edition yellow coloured braided USB cable, and a pair of O-Free Truly Wireless earbuds. The earbuds offer 4 hours of battery life, and live in the included Lamborghini branded carrying case which can charge the O-Free earbuds three more times for a total of 16 hours of use.
With its updated storage and super-fast charging, the OPPO Find X Automobili Lamborghini Limited Edition will be available through JB Hi-Fi and Mobileciti for $1,998.
