The Nokia 7 Plus is a hugely popular handset in Australia, and the rest of the world thanks to great specs at a fantastic price and now there’s another reason to want it with Android Pie now rolling out to the handset.
The Nokia 7 Plus has been getting Android Pie Beta updates since before Google officially announced Pie, with the Nokia 7 Plus announced as an official beta partner at Google I/O back in May. The official rollout of Android Pie has been announced by Chief Product Officer, HMD Global, Juho Sarvikas on Twitter:

With a big, bright 6.0-inch FullHD+ resolution display, the Nokia 7 Plus is also fairly powerful with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor, 4GB of RAM and 64GB of on-board storage with a microSD card slot. The 3,800mAh battery offers outstanding, 2-day battery life and with Android One on-board, you’re going to get updates for up to 2 years for Feature updates and 3 years for security updates.
At $679 from JB Hifi, the Nokia 7 Plus is a great deal, and Scott said that the phone was ‘one of the best mid-range phones I have used’ when he reviewed it back in June. With Android Pie on-board it’s even better. If you already own a Nokia 7 Plus you should start checking for the update now, but it’s likely to be a staggered rollout so be patient.
