Ring has today announced that they’re bringing their Indoor/Outdoor Stick Up Cam to Australia today with the cameras available to purchase for $319.
The Stick Up Cam bolsters their existing range of security focused doorbells, cameras and lights already available in Australia, with a new option to place a camera anywhere you need around your home.
The Ring Stick Up Cam are weatherproof with an IPX5 rating and come in black or white with both wired and battery powered options. The Stick Up Cam captures video in FullHD 1080p resolution behind a wide-angle (150° horizontal, 85° vertical) lens to let you see all the action.
The cameras include night vision, and feature customisable motion detection zones you can set in the Ring app available from Google Play and the iOS app store.
For the security conscious a loud, remote-activated siren is also on-board, or you can talk through the camera which also includes built-in two-way communication.
Those looking to use the camera outdoors will be also able to check out the solar powered option which is available in a bundle for $399 and includes a Solar Panel which can recharge the battery inside with just a few hours of direct sunlight everyday.
