In just a few short weeks Huawei will take the stage in Paris to announce the P30 series of phones. So far they have managed to keep most of it under wraps but today we have seen two leaks arise and here is the first.
Our friends at Winfuture have managed to get their hands on a series of renders showing the two higher end P30 series phones. The renders confirm that the P30 Pro will indeed sport a quad camera.
There appears to be a triple camera setup plus a Time of Flight camera on the P30 Pro for real time depth information and what is interesting is that the third camera in the line on the left of the device is square. It is thought that the square camera, according to Winfuture’s sources, is a 10x optical zoom camera and is square just as it is on the prototype phone that OPPO showed off at MWC this year.
The lettering on the P30 Pro suggests that the range of focal length is from f/1.6 to f/3.4. This results in a zoom from 16mm – 125mm as seen in the lettering.
The standard P30 will feature a triple camera setup which appears to be just the standard triple camera setup as seen in the Mate 20 Pro. The focal lengths are from f/1.8 up to f/2.4 and it can be assumed that the three cameras are, once again, a normal camera, a telephoto and an ultra wide-angled camera.
The renders also show that Huawei will once again have colourful designs and an in-display fingerprint sensor. A teardrop notch is now present instead of the larger notch in the Mate 20 Pro.
The launch of the P30 series phones will take place in Paris on March 26 and we cannot wait to see what Huawei do next.
