Tomorrow OPPO VP Shen Yiren Brian will take to the stage and announced what he has already “leaked” in the last few weeks via his Weibo account. He simply wants to announce the price and be done with it. But we want the details of course and a bit more has leaked today.
The Snapdragon 855 version has appeared on Geekbench today packing 6GB of RAM to go with the Qualcomm processor. Also with this detail we also know that the Pro version will arrive with the 10 x lossless optical, zoom with a 48MP main camera, UFS2.1 memory, NFC, HiRes Dolby panoramic sound, copper tube liquid cooling, a 4065mAh battery, VOOC 3.0, ColorOS 6 and no headphone jack.
It is expected to come in pink, purple, green and black with a matte finish with some grip to it on the back with a glossy line for the OPPO logo. according to official documents leaked out. Which colours are released to us is unknown at this stage but you can bet your last dollar that it will come here in it’s 5G format.
We expect there to also a an 8GB version and 128GB and 512GB versions. For Australians the main this is that the Reno 5G for the western world is expected to be announced just a couple of weeks after in Europe. Not long after we expect it to arrive on the Telstra network.
