It seems like just yesterday that I was congratulating OnePlus on managing to keep a lot of the details of their upcoming flagship underwraps. Unfortunately it seems to be leaking a lot now with serial leaker @OnLeaks revealing more details of their flagships, of which there is actually three.
This morning we saw renders of the OnePlus 7 standard version appear to go with what we now know as the OnePlus 7 Pro that we saw revealed last month. Now the same leaker, @OnLeaks, has given us some more details of the displays and the cameras.
First off there will not be one, not two but three versions of the OnePlus 7 which is a departure from their usual modus operandi of releasing one phone at a time. They did tell us earlier that the 5G model would not be the OnePlus 7. They are technically correct it seems with the 5G model being the OnePlus 7 Pro 5G – semantics.
Onto the details:
OnePlus 7: This SKU will be the variant which is what appears to be a very similar phone to the OnePlus 6T. We do expect it to have updated hardware but be for the person who either does not trust the pop-up camera or who cannot afford the pop-up camera version.
It will apparently have a 6.4-inch flat display (same as the 6T) with a waterdrop notch as seen this morning and a rear dual camera with a 48MP primary lens.
OnePlus 7 Pro and OnePlus 7 Pro 5G: The flagship version of the OnePlus 7 will have both a 4G only and a 5G version but that is apparently the only distinction between the two. It is unclear whether both will be available at launch and we do expect the 5G version to be more expensive and possibly (and hopefully) have a bigger battery than the 4G only version.
They will sport a 6.64-inch curved display with pop-up selfie camera. The rear camera will be a triple camera setup with the primary camera being 48MP once again and the other two a telephoto lens and an ultrawide lens.

More will most likely become clear in the coming weeks but we really hope that OnePlus does manage to surprise us with some details when the phone launches in mid-May.
