Thomas Dexmier, Country Manager HTC Australia and New Zealand said:
HTC is very proud to partner with Telstra to bring the first 5G media hotspot to Australia. With the HTC 5G Hub, customers will be able to experience the power and speed of Telstra’s 5G network in an innovative device, that combines the advanced capabilities of a mobile hotspot with the versatility of the Android operating system, allowing them to connect at home, at work, and on the go.
With Telstra having already rolled out several 5G trial sites across Australia users can experience the future today. Users in Adelaide, Brisbane, Canberra, Gold Coast, Hobart, Launceston, Melbourne, Perth, Sydney and Toowooomba can all get on the 5G network in limited locations.
We’re very interested to test the Telstra HTC 5G hub out and see what this 5G future is all about, and we’re doubly interested to see how HTC has fused their experience with Android devices into this Smart Hub.
