mophie – a brand of Zagg Inc. – has announced a new range of powerbanks for 2019 which include USB-C support for both charging up your mobile accessories as well as charging your powerbank faster.
Available in four capacities, the powerstation, powerstation mini, powerstation XL, and powerstation XXL each feature multiple charging ports, including a shared USB-C input and output port.
The 2019 mophie powerstation line features a versatile shared USB-C input and output port, which can be used to charge the powerstation battery, or charge a connected device. In addition, the powerstation mini and powerstation have an additional USB-A port, while the powerstation XL and powerstation XXL have two additional ports for charging multiple smartphones, tablet and other compatible devices simultaneously. A four-light LED power indicator displays the charging status and current battery life.
The mophie powerstation line has a durable fabric finish, providing a comfortable feel and protection against scratches or scuffs when stowed alongside other devices. As with all mophie batteries, the powerstation line is triple-test certified to ensure peak performance and safe operation and includes a two-year warranty.
The mophie powerstation range is available in multiple capacities and colours:
- powerstation mini – 5,000mAh (up to 18 hours of total device use time), available in Black, Gray, and Navy.
- powerstation – 10,000mAh (up to 36 hours of total device use time), available in Black, Gray and Navy.
- powerstation XL – 15,000mAh (up to 55 hours of total device use time), available in Black.
- powerstation XXL – 20,000mAh (up to 73 hours of total device use time), available in Black

Are they compatible with the USB power delivery standard?
The information we have suggests they are USB-PD compatible.
None of the models listed above have USB-PD mentioned on the mophie product pages – some have Q&A answers specifically saying No. There are other mophie models with PD in the name tho – which only charge at 18W and recharge at 15W (the latter requiring only USB-C and not PD.) Then there’s the powerstation USB-C XXL, the USB-C 3XL and the AC – which are all far more expensive than the powerstation XXL, and actually mention PD.
