Evan is well connected and gets his hands on lots of leaks, the vast majority of which have proven over time to be fairly accurate. This trend continues with a stream of leaked information in the last week showing multiple phones including the LG V60 ThinQ.
If you’re a fan of big batteries or headphone jacks, stay tuned you’ll like this.
We already know LG won’t be at MWC this year, so their usual phone release may well be a remote one. But this looks pretty promising if the V60 ThinQ is what they have in store for us.
The images show – as mentioned – two huge features, not just because they’re wanted features but the battery is big. 5000mAh somewhat dwarfs the likes of the Note 10+ battery at 4300mAh and – in my experience – LG optimise their battery pretty well for good life. How well this will in fact last remains to be seen once we get our hands on the device.
The second feature shown off is the headphone jack. Of course there are Bluetooth headphones available in the current market, but there are many users who’ve spent significant money on wired headphones and some who just don’t want to change.
Travellers generally use wired technology on planes and there’s the simple fact that wired sound will always be capable of higher quality without the need to compress, transmit then decompress and play the sound.
In the coming couple of weeks prior to MWC we’re sure to see many more leaks of multiple devices, which device are you most looking forward to seeing?
If I was in the market for a new phone this year, I’d definitely start saving my money in serious consideration of a V60-ThinQ. Decent battery and headphone jack has me interested. Very interested.
